Language Arts 1-8-14

Welcome 2014!!

Today we reviewed the 8 Literary Elements for our MAP Test.
Teams constructed mini-posters pinpointing key elements.

Journal entry:
Describe an event, a gift, a tradition, a trip you enjoyed over the holidays.  Use as many forms of figurative language as you can.  Draw a square around the figurative language and label it.

Homework:
work on your Journal entry
Read the article in the SCOPE magazine that was assigned and create a current event summary
Organize your flash cards
