Today we took an open note quiz using our Red notebooks. The quiz covered key Reading elements that we have covered since the beginning of the year. Our test on these skills will be Tuesday, October 7th. We will not be able to use our notes for the assessments.

Catch up on The Hunger Games -- no new reading assignment or job; catch up on your sheets:
Idioms, Ironies, Illuminating Lines, Character chart
Review vocabulary and Part II for test on Monday.
Complete Worksheet (referenced Chapter 5) due Monday.
No Simple Solutions; review Parts of Speech and work on online quiz practice activities (due Wednesday).
