Thursday:
Today we took two tests: Jack London comprehension and vocabulary tests on "The King of Mazy May" and "Story of An Eyewitness" from our green Literature books. Our packets on Jack London were collected. It was a two-week packet with 17 activities.
Grade sheets and missing assignments were checked.
We submitted our list of books read during the 2nd quarter.
We began reading a Scope magazine play in Yale and Harvard.
Binder signatures were checked.
HOMEWORK:
Genealogy Projects due 1/28/14
In addition: Harvard
chose a "man vs. nature" conflict novel. Read your novel over the weekend. You should be able to finish the novel in a week except those reading Sea Wolf by Jack London -- about two weeks.
Monday, January 27th, 2014 -- CPS schools are closed.
Spend some time reading!! Finish your Genealogy Project! Begin the 3rd quarter on an awesome note!!
This week a current event will be assigned. Look for an article and get ahead!
